Ravichandran Ashwin Breaks Silence on India A vs Sri Lanka A Controversy
The match between India A and Sri Lanka A was marred by a controversy in the Super Over. While Sri Lanka A won the game, a controversy erupted between Suryansh Shedge and Sri Lankan players.
The match between India A and Sri Lanka A may have ended, but it was filled with its own moments. While Sri Lanka A stitched a good comeback, the Super Over of the match was affected by some moments which triggered the India A team.
Ravichandran Ashwin, former Indian all-rounder, reacted to this, talking about what had happened. He called out the moment when Sri Lanka A batsmen didn't step out to bat for a long time during the Super Over. And another moment in the game was a controversial no ball call, which was not given by the umpires.
These games won’t have as many cameras as we are used to seeing in the IPL. The No Ball call in the super over was debatable and the way Sri Lanka delayed coming into bat in the super over really irked the India A side.

Ashwin called out this moment too, as he said that similar to the Indian Premier League, these games do not have access to many cameras. Moreover, he also praised Sri Lanka A for playing mind games against the Indian players which helped them to win the game.
Our Take
While India A may have been knocked out of the tri-series, the team has received various lessons. Ashwin loved the way Sri Lanka A played the mind games on India A team, as he has also been known for playing mind games on his opponents. India A is still having a few games left in this series, as it remains to be seen how the team would be performing in them and whether they can stitch a strong comeback or not.
