Royal Nimar Eagles went on to post 181 runs for the loss of 7 wickets after being asked to bat first. Himanshu Mantri dominated the powerplay with aggressive batting, while Kanishk Dubey supported him by playing an anchor role. The Eagles went on to score 54/1 in six overs, even when Mantri lost his wicket to Priyanshu Shukla after scoring 38.

The middle overs belonged to Saransh Jain, who went on to stitch a 68-run partnership along with Anand Bais. Jain was able to play well, as he rotated strike effectively before accelerating for the team. Yuvraj Nema and Kamal Tripathi helped Bhopal Leopards to get back in the game, as they reduced Eagles from 131/2 to 151/5. But Pushkar Vishwakarma gave a late cameo which pushed the team above 180.
