Raghu Sharma was able to make an impact for Mumbai Indians in the clash against LSG. While everyone loved his bowling, only a few knew about his struggle to reach this stage. After taking his maiden IPL wicket, Raghu took out a note from his pocket for which he waited 15 years.

Raghu Sharma has finally arrived in the Indian Premier League, and he could also be named as a late bloomer. Mumbai Indians picked him up in the IPL auction, and currently he is 33 years old, as he made his debut for the team. His first game came against Chennai Super Kings, where he unfortunately went wicketless.

But in the next game against Lucknow Super Giants, Mumbai Indians decided to give him an opportunity yet again. And this time, he was able to shine for them, taking crucial wickets when needed. In his spell, Raghu Sharma conceded just 36 runs and even managed to take his maiden wicket in the form of caught and bowled.

He took the wicket of Akshat Raghuwanshi, and took out a note from his pocket. Showing the note to the fans, even MI captain Suryakumar Yadav decided to take a look at the same. The note read,β€œA very painful 15 years by divine mercy of Gurudeva ended today. Thanks MI for giving me this opportunity. Ever grateful. Jai Shree Ram.”
