Who Will Lead India? Fresh T20I Captaincy Update Emerges
The Indian team is about to get a captaincy change soon in the T20I format. Suryakumar Yadav, the current captain, is likely to be replaced within the next few months. Amidst this, Sanju Samson has now emerged as one of the frontrunners to lead the Indian team.

Instead, they have decided to go with Sanju Samson as the captain. He has already led Rajasthan Royals in the IPL, and showcased his best performances in the T20 World Cup 2026. It is all over to Suryakumar Yadav, as his decision would determine whether Samson becomes the vice captain first or leads the team directly.
