Arsenal legend Thierry Henry will be at the Rabindra Sarobar Stadium, Kolkata, on October 25 to watch the ISL clash between Atletico de Kolkata (ATK) and Mumbai City FC. Previously, another Gunners legend Robert Pires had featured for FC Goa in the inaugural edition of ISL in 2014.

Former Arsenal and France striker Thierry Henry will be visiting Kolkata next Tuesday for a promotional activity. The ex-Barcelona forward, who is visiting India in relation to his ties with Puma, will be taking part in the promotional activities and then attend the match between home team Atletico de Kolkata (ATK) and Mumbai City FC at the Rabindra Sarobar Stadium.

After ending his career as a professional footballer in 2015 with MLS club NewYork Red Bulls, Henry is currently the second assistant coach of the Belgium national team under Roberto Martinez. The 39-year old will leave for Mumbai after the ISL match, where he will meet his fans and share footballing tips with grass roots players.

"We are extremely excited to get Thierry Henry to India for the first time and give his fans the opportunity to see him from close quarters. We know that his popularity in the football fraternity is unmatched," Abhishek Ganguly, managing director of Puma India, told TOI on Tuesday.
