ISL | Cesar Ferrando appointed as Jamshedpur FC head coach

Cesar Ferrando, who had an extremely successful stint in his last assignment with Spanish Club, La Nucia, has been appointed as the new head coach of Jamshedpur Football Club. During his player career, Cesar represented top Spanish clubs such as Valencia, Salamanca, Sabadell, Alzira.

Jamshedpur Football Club Director, Mr. Sunil Bhaskaran was elated at the announcement and said, “We are delighted to welcome Cesar Ferrando to Jamshedpur FC. We are extremely confident that he is the right person for the job and will work to deliver trophies for our fans and bring glory to Jamshedpur.

“Several things stood out during his interactions with us and the entire process; his vision, football knowledge, energy, determination and love of the game. He had thorough knowledge about our club, our players and the Indian Super League which was very impressive. He shares our vision to move forward, to build on the platform created by us and help this club enjoy greater success.”

Jamshedpur FC Chief Executive Officer Mr. Mukul Choudhari said, “Cesar Ferrando has had an outstanding football management career and proved with the performance of the field time and again. His sides have always played exciting football, impressing with their attacking approach and dynamism, and his coaching methods significantly improved the players. He is hardworking, passionate and his sense of values make him an ideal person to take us forward and fits in perfectly with the values of the club and the management.”

“After a rigorous search involving extensive background references, data and video analysis and personal meetings with all the candidates, we unanimously chose Cesar to carve our path in creating football history.”

Cesar said, “Our main objective will be to give our best every day at every training session and make the team compete at the highest level every game we play. We will focus and prepare game by game as it will be a final with hard work, passion, sacrifice, effort, team workand humility. Success for me in this season will be to play good football, implement a strong and unique football model to make the team more competitive in the league and let the supporters enjoy the faith they have put in my team, my staff and me.”
