As the transfer deadline approaches, AS Roma is still active in the market and is now targeting three players from Juventus. The Gialorossi are interested in Emre Can and Mario Mandzukic, who popped up in the middle of the conversations to get the Italian centre-back Daniele Rugani.

According to Corriere dello Sport, AS Roma are interested in signing Emre Can and Mario Mandzukic. The two players emerged in Roma's radar as the club from the capital continues their pursuit to get the Italian center-back Daniele Rugani. The 25-year-old has been the focal point of the discussions between the two clubs lately, with the Gialorossi trying to get a player who has lost his place at Juventus with the arrival of Matthijs de Ligt.

Mandzukic would be a great addition to Paulo Fonseca's squad, especially, after the injury of Diego Perotti who is expected to be sidelined for two months. As for Emre Can, the German would also be a huge addition to AS Roma's continuing investment in their midfield contingent that already saw the arrivals of Amadou Diawara from Napoli and Jordan Veretout from Fiorentina.

With few days left to sign players, it is expected that AS Roma continues to pursue assets that can upgrade their squad, and following the rumours, all the squad sectors are being considered.
