India U-15 boys plays out 2-2 draw against Slovenia

Sidarth's brace helped the Indian under 15 football team hold Slovenia to a 2-2 draw in the MU-15 Tournament in Palmanova, Italy on Tuesday. Earlier in the tournament, India had started its campaign with a 0-3 loss against the United States of America (USA) in the inaugural match on Sunday.

The Indian under 15 football team was off to a very good start against Slovenia in Tuesday’s encounter in the MU-15 Football Tournament in Italy. Eric and Himanshu created early chances for the Indian side in the first few minutes of the game however, both of them failed to find the goal for the Asian team.

Sidarth scored the first goal to break the deadlock in the first half of the match. However, Slovenia managed to score the equaliser in the 20th minute of the match as Marsetic found the back of the net. Both the teams went into the break with the scoreline reading 1-1. 

In the second half of the match, Slovenia managed to take the lead in the 51st minute with their second goal in the match. Although the Indian boys were under pressure in the second half after trailing by a goal, they still had the hope of getting their second goal. Sidarth went on to nail the ball past the Slovenia goalie in the last few seconds of the game to level the scores.
