We’re offering goals to opposition, vents Aubameyang following Watford’s draw

Arsenal looked in control in their Premier League game against Watford going into half time with a two goal lead. However, the Hornets came out firing on all cylinders and were able to respond with two unanswered goals of their own at Vicarage Road to seal two points from the game.

After letting the game slip through their fingers, Piere-Emerick Aubameyang looked visibly down by the score the Gunners starred on Premier League's Week 5 match. The Gabonese striker scored a brace in the first 45 minutes of the game, continuing his excellent form previously displayed. However, that was all negated in the second half as Watford capitalized on mistakes in the Arsenal defence to level proceedings and walked away with a point in Quique Sanchez Flores' first game back at the club.

"It is up to us to progress. I don't want to accuse anyone, but you could say that us, the attackers, could have killed the game off and scored a third goal so I am not going to say it is someone's fault."

"Obviously we didn't expect that. We knew that they were going to try and come back with good intentions, of the kind they demonstrated in the second half. Sadly, we were not able to deal with them well," Aubameyang told the Daily Mail.
