Emmanuel Petit shares his views on the recent performances shown by Raheem Sterling, with a slump in his form after moving to Chelsea two years ago. Sterling has also not been able to take up the main role for Arsenal, despite being on a loan deal.

Emmanuel Petit talked about the performance of Raheem Sterling, which has not been up to the mark, despite being a part of Arsenal in a loan deal. He said that Sterling’s hunger for the game has now come to an end, which can be seen due to his bad performances.

Raheem Sterling left Manchester City to go to Chelsea two years ago, and since then, he has not been able to find the mark. After that, he moved to Arsenal in a loan deal, as he was told by Enzo Maresca, that he had too much quality in his skills. However, fans expected his comeback following his move to Arsenal.

Mikel Arteta, the coach of Arsenal also has a great bond with Raheem Sterling, as they also spent some time together in Manchester City. But this time, Sterling has not been able to perform the main role for the team. Along with that, he has just performed in one Premier League game so far, which makes fans also question his performances.

Emmanuel Petit said,“Something just doesn’t seem to be right with Raheem Sterling this season. If you take away his speed, what else does he offer? I have the feeling that Sterling is not hungry anymore – I said this a couple of weeks ago.”
