Aston Villa Defender’s Loan Deal Encounters Unexpected Challenges

Lino Sousa, who is currently on a loan deal with Bristol Rivers, suffered a hamstring injury, causing him to be out of action for a month. Aston Villa’s defender has been able to give fruitful contributions to the team's defence but injury in the loan period becomes a concern.

The defender of Aston Villa, Lino Sousa, has been with his team Bristol Rivers, due to the loan spell. Unfortunately, he suffered a hamstring injury in his loan period due to which he is expected to be out of action for a month. He joined Aston Villa last year in January after leaving Arsenal.

But he was again given out by the team in the form of a loan, due to which he is playing a level lower in the competitions. He is currently playing in League One under the leadership of Matt Taylor. Till now, Sousa has played 10 matches for the team this season, and even contributed with an assist in the lost game against Peterborough United in September.

Although the defender has been versatile, he will be out of action for a month and is expected to miss the next few games even after being on a loan transfer.

Matt Taylor, the team's coach, said in an interview,“We've actually lost Lino this week. He's damaged his hamstring. A minimum of a month . It's just a hamstring. small tear in training. Pitches are changing a little bit. wasn't from a running mechanism, just a slip, which is strange for a muscle injury, but yeah, it's a shame because you want everyone fit and available but that happens.”
