Mikel Arteta now sets his eyes on Mateo Retegui from Atlanta, after his impressive performances in the UEFA Champions League and Serie A. His previous two striker targets, Alexander Isak and Viktor Gyokeres are likely to go to other teams in the upcoming Transfer Window.

The January Transfer Window is approaching, as the Arsenal scouts are also looking up to the potential team signings. Recently, the scouts of the team had their eyes on Mateo Retegui, who was able to score two goals for Atlanta in the UEFA Champions League.

This move comes after Mikel Arteta became likely to lose two of his potential transfer targets for the team's striker in the January Transfer Window. The team has now changed its attention and is looking forward to the new forwards in the upcoming weeks before the Transfer Window opens.

Viktor Gyokeres and Alexander Isak were among the top contenders who were on the signing list for Arsenal. However, the reports say that these players might be transferred to other clubs, due to which Mikel Arteta is looking up to the other players. Barcelona is currently looking forward to Alexander Isak, while Gyokeres is likely to get a reunion at Manchester United, with Ruben Amorim.

Mateo Retegui has shown some impressive performances for Atlanta in the current season, scoring 14 goals in his 19 appearances and he could possibly be the best alternative for Arsenal, who is looking forward to signing strikers in the January Transfer Window.
