Coventry City has been looking forward to a new manager for the team, as the upcoming Transfer Window approaches. Along with that, the reports also say that Frank Lampard is now closer to becoming the new manager of the team, after having negotiations for a long time.

Fans can expect him to be announced as the team's manager within a short time, as the contract negotiations for the same are said to be completed. The team has been working without a manager, after Mark Robins, their former manager, resigned from the post on 7 November.

Ever since his departure, Rhys Carr has been working with Coventry City, as an interim boss while Doug King was looking forward to a replacement. It now appears that Frank Lampard is likely to take over for the team through a transfer, which will make him the team's manager.

It should be noted that Frank Lampard has not been working with any team since the 2022-23 season, when he parted ways with Chelsea. During the season, the team managed to win just one out of their eleven matches and it now looks like he will be making his return as a manager to the Championship.
