Juventus have officially confirmed Timothy Weah’s move to Olympique Marseille. The deal includes a €1m loan fee and a €14.4m obligation to buy, plus up to €4.1m in bonuses. Signed from Lille in 2023 for €11m, Weah leaves with 78 appearances, 7 goals, and 7 assists, earning Juventus a minimum profit of €6m.

During the summer 2025 transfer window, Juventus finalized the sale of USMNT international Timothy Weah to Olympique Marseille, with the club releasing the official financial details due to its stock market listing. The total value of the transfer deal is a minimum of €15.4 million, with the potential to rise to €19.5 million through add-ons. The structure includes a €1 million loan fee for the 2025-26 season, followed by an obligation to buy for €14.4 million if certain performance-based conditions are met.

That amount will be paid in four instalments. Additionally, Marseille may pay up to €4.1 million more in performance-related bonuses, depending on Weah’s contributions. Juventus stand to make a minimum profit of €6 million on the transfer, having originally signed Weah from Lille (LOSC) in the summer of 2023 for €11 million. Over his two seasons with the Bianconeri, Weah made 78 competitive appearances, scoring seven goals and providing seven assists.

The 25-year-old winger arrived in Marseille to a warm reception from fans and completed his medical ahead of the announcement. Juventus’ public disclosure of the figures provides rare clarity in top-flight football transactions, showcasing the growing importance of financial transparency in the modern game.
