Robert Lewandowski’s agent Pini Zahavi confirmed the striker turned down a €100 million-per-season offer from Saudi Arabia last year, choosing instead to compete for La Liga and the Champions League with Barcelona. Zahavi dismissed fresh transfer rumours, stating Lewandowski is happy at the club, despite starting the season injured.

For the second summer in a row, Robert Lewandowski has been linked with a potential move to Saudi Arabia, with reports claiming that clubs there were ready to offer him a massive deal. His agent, Pini Zahavi, has now dismissed these rumours, stating that Lewandowski has no interest in playing in Saudi Arabia. Zahavi revealed that a year ago the striker received a concrete offer worth more than €100 million per season but chose to stay at Barcelona to compete for La Liga and the Champions League.

The decision nearly paid off, as he played a key role in Barcelona’s potent attacking trio with Raphinha and Lamine Yamal, helping the club enjoy a strong season in Europe. Zahavi further explained that Saudi clubs are already crowded with foreign players, limiting their recruitment options.

He stressed that Lewandowski feels at home in Barcelona, describing it as “his place on earth” and the environment where he feels most comfortable. Despite being in the latter stages of his career, Barcelona still trusts him to lead the attack for another season. However, Lewandowski will miss the opening three matches of the new campaign due to injury, delaying his return to competitive action.
