Newcastle Set £150m Conditions for Isaks Liverpool Move

Alexander Isak has reiterated his desire to join Liverpool, refusing to return despite crisis talks with Newcastle. The club insists on their £150m valuation and demands two replacements before any sale. Newcastle’s bids for Yoane Wissa (£40m) and Jorgen Strand Larsen (£50m) were rejected, leaving Isak’s transfer saga unresolved as the window nears closure.

After the opening two games of the Premier League season, Newcastle United continue to face a crisis surrounding star striker Alexander Isak, who has gone on strike and refused to play. The Swedish forward has made it clear that he wants to leave St James’s Park and complete a move to Liverpool before the transfer window shuts on Monday. Despite crisis talks with club directors Jamie Reuben and Jacobo Solis at his home, Isak stood firm on his decision, accusing the club of “broken promises” and insisting the relationship cannot continue.

Liverpool has already seen one bid rejected and remains far from Newcastle’s £150 million valuation. The Magpies have stressed that they will only consider sanctioning a transfer if their price tag is met and if they can bring in two new signings before the deadline. Newcastle chairman Yasir Al-Rumayyan is still pushing to keep Isak, but time is running out.

The club has already had a £40m bid for Brentford’s Yoane Wissa and a £50m bid for Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen turned down. Manager Eddie Howe has been forced to start the season without his main striker, and the transfer saga looks set to continue right up until deadline day.
