Adolfo Bautista, the retired midfielder of Mexico, recently talked about the unprofessional behaviour of Lionel Messi in a football game, on his social media accounts. Messi sparked a lot of controversy among the football fans which came during the preseason match of Inter Miami at the Allegiant Stadium on January 19.
Once Messi scored a goal against the Liga MX outfit, he showcased three fingers as a point of celebration, which indicated the number of times when Argentina had won the FIFA World Cup. On the other hand, it also taunted Mexico as they have won no World Cups till now.
Taking to his Instagram, Adolfo Bautista said,“I admired you as a player. To involve my country speaks to your lack of professionalism and education.”This also showcased the anger in Bautista following the actions taken by Lionel Messi on the field.
Messi came back in action during the match against Club America, where Inter Miami won 2-3 by penalties. The Herons were able to score a goal in the 31st minute of the game, which was later equalised by Lionel Messi, as he scored the first goal for his team within 3 minutes.
