Bayern’s sporting director, Max Eberl, acknowledged the importance of Kane’s goals, expressing confidence that the 31-year-old, who has experienced both highs and lows in his career, will bounce back. Max Eberl quoted:

“Of course, we need his goals. He hasn't scored but he knows that and is probably more critical of himself than anyone else.”

Freiburg, sitting 8th in the league and strong at home, will likely capitalize on Bayern’s recent 3-0 loss to Feyenoord in the Champions League, showing that gaps can be exploited.
