Manchester United Open to Covering Rashfords Wages to Secure £40M Deal

After the uncertainty surrounding Marcus Rashford’s future at Manchester United, fresh developments suggest the club is now willing to accept a £40 million offer for the forward, but with a twist. According to former United chief scout Mick Brown, the club is open to covering a portion of Rashford’s wages to secure a higher transfer fee, as they struggle to attract interest due to his high salary demands.

Although £40 million is the ideal figure United want, they may be forced to settle for less unless they subsidize part of his wages. Brown confirmed that Newcastle United are among the clubs interested, but only if United share the financial burden. Rashford, whose departure from Old Trafford seems inevitable, has also shown a preference for joining Barcelona and may consider a pay cut to make that move possible.
