Bayern Munich are negotiating a contract extension with Harry Kane, whose current deal runs until next season. Since joining in 2023, Kane has scored 119 goals in 126 matches and 21 in 19 Bundesliga games this season. Club officials say there is no urgency, as Kane is settled in Munich.

In the recent developments at Bayern Munich, the club has confirmed that discussions are ongoing to extend Harry Kane’s contract, which currently runs until the end of next season. Kane joined Bayern from Tottenham in 2023 and finally won his first major trophy when the club lifted the Bundesliga title last year. Since arriving in Germany, he has been in exceptional form, scoring 119 goals in 126 appearances and breaking several long-standing records.

This season alone, Kane has scored 21 goals in 19 Bundesliga matches and has registered 34 goals in 30 games across all competitions. His performances have put him in contention to challenge Robert Lewandowski’s single-season record of 41 league goals. Bayern’s board member for sport, Max Eberl, stated that talks are progressing and that a decision will be made in due course.

Chief executive Jan-Christian Dreesen added that there is no urgency, as Kane and his family are settled in Munich and feel comfortable at the club. However, interest remains from other European giants, with Barcelona reportedly viewing Kane as their top target to replace Lewandowski. A release clause in his contract could allow him to leave for £57 million in the summer.
