When the Barcelona prodigy Lamine Yamal scored his stunning acrobatic goal against Oviedo, he reached another historic landmark in his young career by completing 100 direct goal contributions for club and country. According to Transfermarkt data, the 18-year-old winger has now been involved in 100 goals in senior football. Out of these, 82 have come for Barcelona, while 18 have been registered with the Spanish national team.

What makes this achievement even more special is his age, as he reached this figure at just 18 years, 6 months and 12 days. Yamal’s journey began early. He recorded his first senior assist for Barcelona against Villarreal on August 27, 2023, when he was only 16. A month later, he scored his first goal away at Granada. His growth since then has been remarkable. In the 2023-24 season, he produced 16 goal contributions in 50 matches.

That number jumped to 43 in 55 appearances during the 2024-25 campaign. So far in the 2025-26 season, Yamal has already added 23 more contributions. With Spain, he has played 23 matches, scoring 6 goals and providing 12 assists. His debut against Georgia made him the youngest debutant and goalscorer in Spanish history.
