Cristiano Ronaldo has remained in Spain with his family after leaving Saudi Arabia earlier this month. The move is linked to Middle East tensions and his hamstring injury suffered in late February. Currently recovering in Madrid, he has no confirmed return date, he is expected to rejoin Al Nassr.

For the latest update, Cristiano Ronaldo is currently staying in Madrid with his family and is not expected to return to Saudi Arabia anytime soon due to rising regional tensions. The Al Nassr captain had travelled earlier this month in a private jet along with his partner, Georgina Rodríguez, and their children, seeking stability in their daily lives during this uncertain period.

The family is currently staying in La Finca, a well-known luxury residential area in Madrid. While the trip initially coincided with their children’s spring break, there is still no confirmed date for their return. Reports also suggest that the move is not only linked to geopolitical concerns but also Ronaldo’s recent hamstring injury. Al Nassr manager Jorge Jesus confirmed that the injury is more serious than first expected.

Ronaldo has travelled to Spain to undergo specialised rehabilitation with a personal therapist. With the FIFA World Cup 2026 approaching and likely to be his final appearance, there are concerns about his fitness. Ronaldo is expected to rejoin training after recovery, though it remains unclear when his family will return.
