India could confirm their place in the semi-final Kabaddi World Cup if they beat Argentina in the Group A clash in Ahmedabad today. Argentina have lost their games in the World Cup so far so it should be a pretty straight forward win for the Indians.

Ajay Thakur, Manjeet Chhillar and Pardeep Narwal have been the outstanding performers for India so far and were instrumental in India's comfortable win over Bangladesh. The Narwal-Thakur combination that worked so well against the "other sub-continent team" will have to hit top gear again if India want to book their place in the knockouts today.

Argentina, alongside USA, is probably one of the weakest teams that the tournament has ever seen, so expecting them to grind out a result against the two-time Champions is a big ask. Out of form raider Rahul Chaudhari, who has struggled to impose himself on the tournament so far, might be given a chance should India make a blistering start to the game.
