In the international cricket, Brendon McCullum is known for his brutal approach towards any bowling attack. In the ongoing CPL, the former Kiwi captain showed his monstrous side for Trinbago Knight Riders as he scored 91 runs in just 62 balls which included an incredible maximum against Odean Smith.

In a match between Jamaica Tallawahs and Trinbago Knight Riders, the former won the toss and elected to field first. This step gave the fans a chance to witness the thunder of McCullum's shots.

The incident occurred in the 12th over of the innings when Smith tried to bowl a yorker but missed his mark. The ball turned into a full delivery on off stump. McCullum responded by taking a step past his off stump, almost going down to both his knees, and scooped the ball over the keeper for a six. While there have been many players who have been excellent players of scoop shot, none have been able to do it to a ball that was as full and over 140 kmph.

In his 91 runs innings, the 35-year old hits four boundaries and six maximum which helped his team to score 208 runs in allotted 20 overs. It proved to be enough as Tallawahs could manage just 172 runs and they lost the match by 36 runs.
