Although R Ashwin claimed six wickets on Day 4 in Bengaluru to help India level the series at 1-1, it wasn't the only thing that brought a smile to Ashwin's face. The TN spinner also exacted some revenge for Abhinav Mukund who was yesterday mocked by Mitchell Starc with a pointing gesture a day ago.

With India en-route to completing a deserved victory over Australia, Ashwin claimed the wicket of Mitchell Starc, when the pacer was unable to read a straight ball that crashed into the wickets. The Indian spinner went on to celebrate the wicket by pointing to his forehead while looking at Starc the whole time.

The reaction was in response to the Aussie's war of words with Indian youngster Mukund in India's second innings of the Test match. Starc had been on a good spell and Mukund was struggling to score off the Aussie's bowling. So when he saw a short ball coming his way, in an attempt to hook it to the leg side, Mukund top edged it for a six behind the keeper. Starc had reacted to the shot with a wry smile and by pointing to his forehead.

Ashwin appears to have taken the Australian's gesture seriously and made it a "point" to let him know accordingly.

The Test series is tied at one game a piece and with some fireworks in Bengaluru, one can only imagine what lies ahead for spectators in the final two matches of the Aussie tour.
