New Zealand’s Tom Latham pulled off a stunning one-handed catch to dismiss South Africa’s Faf du Plessis. Latham is seen getting in position to take the catch even before Du Plessis had hit the ball and his anticipation, along with his reflexes, were what helped him pull off a blinder.

A one-handed catch is always a joy to behold and is all the more so when it is preceded by top-class anticipation. The incident occurred in the 62nd over of the South African first innings on the second day of the third Test in Hamilton when Du Plessis attempted to sweep Mitchell Santner.

Latham, at short-leg, is seen moving to his right even before Du Plessis had lined up for his shot and Latham's anticipation held him in good stead as he pulled off a stunner to send back Du Plessis.
