Recently, Redditors were asked to choose two cricketers, who could add value to their national team, if given a chance, and most people came up with similar answers. Virat Kohli, Quinton de Kock, Kagiso Rabada, R Ashwin, and Steve Smith were the most sought after players in the discussion.

With the progression of time, the club cricket structure has started to be prevalent in the imagination of the cricket fans, who are now getting to see cricketers from various countries and states playing together in the money-spinning tournaments across the world. So, on that line, a Reddit user asked cricketing fans to pick two overseas players who could walk their way into their national teams and make the biggest impact. In a post that had a 93% upvote, the users went berserk to have the Indian skipper and South African duo of Quinton de Kock and Kagiso Rabada in their team, with Steve Smith and the Indian duo of Ashwin and Jadeja being named often as well.

Kohli has made a name for himself over the last two years and is considered to be one of the most lethal batsman around. His four double hundreds in as many Test series has seen his popularity rise and he was one of the favorites among the users. Along with their captain, the Indian spin duo of Ashwin and Jadeja were also a hit in the hypothetical switch.

While De Kock has been making ripples in world cricket since his debut in 2012, Rabada, for his pace and variations, has earned plaudits from all around the globe. But they were not the lone attractions as Australian pacer Josh Hazlewood found a good amount of takers for him as well.

The Aussies seem to favor de Kock to finally find a suitable replacement for Adam Gilchrist, while Indian fans were more inclined to go for Rabada after his performance in the IPL. Understandably, most English and Kiwi fans wanted Ashwin to be a part of their team due to the lack of a good spinner in their ranks.
