Hardik Pandya is known for his athletic body and agile presence on the field in a cricket match and today, he reiterated why he is called so. In the second over of the New Zealand run-chase, the Baroda-born all-rounder took a stunner near the boundary rope that left everyone awestruck.

Confidence, fearlessness hardly any flicker of intimidation while rubbing shoulders with the best in the business characterize Pandya and his big-hitting abilities were well documented in the IPL and for the Indian team. But apart from his fearless approach towards batting and quality bowling, his fielding has always been a big plus point for the Indian team. Today, he just reaffirmed the same by taking a wonderful catch near the straight boundary that left everyone present in the stadium gasping for breath.

In the second over of the New Zealand run-chase, Guptill played a lofted shot straight towards the sightscreen and it seemed it would easily cross the ropes, but the timing was simply not good enough for it. Sensing a perfect opportunity to take the catch, Pandya ran across from long-off to pouch the catch and just before it was going to be landed on the floor, he flanged himself across full stretch and grasped it almost in his fingertips to send the Kiwi opener packing for 4.

The catch not only helped India get rid of the dangerous opener but also gave a sense of joy in the entire team.
