After Shikhar Dhawan's glorious 90-run knock helped India post a total of 174, Sri Lanka's Kusal Perera took away the game with his explosive powerplay hitting. Twitterati weren't impressed with India's below average display against a weak Lankan side and they made it known in innovative ways.

Brief Scores : India 174/5 (Shikhar Dhawan 90, Manish Pandey 37; Dushmantha Chameera 2/33, Danushka Gunathilaka 1/16) lost to Sri Lanka 175/5 (Kusal Perera 66, Thisara Perera 22; Washington Sundar 2/28, Yuzvendra Chahal 2/37) by 5 wickets.

Rohit Sharma with another duck...

When will K.L. Rahul get his chance?

Gabbar  is on fire

He surely loves to play against Sri Lanka

Dhawan showing his importance once again!

Is he good enough to replace Ashwin?

Looks like India have found a replacement for Ishant Sharma

D Sports is getting trolled left, right and centre

Rahul Gandhi and Rohit Sharma will make great friends

Now that is some tough competition

This is an interesting proposition

That’s why he is called ‘ Captain Cool’

Superb comeback by Thakur

And it has started

Interesting suggestion

Is this the reason why India lost the match?
