Pakistani pace bowler, Hassan Ali has left behind Indian skipper, Virat Kohli in the yo-yo test scores, ahead of the Asia Cup 2018. Ali proved himself to be the fittest player in the national team of Pakistan with a score of 20, which is one point ahead of Virat Kohli's score.

Yo-yo test has popularly become BCCI's most trusted instrument in gauging its players' fitness and with the team led by a fitness-loving Virat Kohli, his highest score amongst the lot in the level two fitness test wasn't a surprise for anyone. After IPL hero Ambati Rayudu was left out of the squad following his failure in the test, BCCI had come under immense criticism from one and all.

The move, however, has made India one of the fittest cricketing nations in the world with Virat Kohli the leading scorer amongst the lot. But, the Indian skipper has now been leapfrogged by Pakistani pacer, Hassan Ali, just ahead of the Asia Cup. The players of the national team of Pakistan underwent the test ahead of the tournament, scheduled to begin soon in the UAE and Ali has proved himself to be the fittest player in their team with a score of 20.

Indian skipper Virat Kohli has a score of 19. Before India's tour of Sri Lanka in 2017, Manish Pandey had emerged as the fittest in the team with a score of 19.2. Apart from Rayudu few veteran players, who have failed to get through this test in the past include Yuvraj Singh and Suresh Raina.

Former India U-19 cricketer Mayank Dagar had scored 19.3 and Arun Karthik, the former Royal Challenger Bangalore player, has scored 19.2 in the test. Former Indian hockey skipper Sardar Singh also has an eye-catching score of 21.4.
