VIDEO | Virat Kohli takes ball from umpire for juggling before Kettleborough snatches it away

After the Boxing Day Test win, Virat Kohli has seemed a poised man not in any mental pressure whatsoever, coming into the Sydney Test. That was on show after Tea today as he took the ball from umpire for juggling for he was getting bored while waiting for the Australian players to come to the field.

Ahead of the Sydney Test, Tim Paine had said that if they could take Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli out, the holes in India's batting line-up would be exposed clearly. It proved to be largely true as the duo got together to form yet another solid partnership before tea and that put Kohli in a very good mental state going to tea.

He was quite happy and seemingly humming some Bollywood music on his way to the middle. While waiting for the Australian players to come to the field, he asked Richard Kettleborough, who is one of the umpires for the match, for the ball and then started juggling with that. Interestingly, the movement of his head was in complete sync with the ball’s rise and fall.

While that was pretty good to watch, umpire Kettleborough immediately intervened and snatched the ball away from him as the actions might have altered the condition of the ball while not even in play. Kettleborough just followed the ICC protocol, and although Kohli seemed surprised at it, he happily let the umpire find his way.
