BCCI announces schedule for women’s ODI & T20I series against England

BCCI has announced the fixtures for ODI and T20I series of the Indian women cricket team to be played against England at home in February and March. The three ODIs to be played in the series will be a part of the ICC Women’s Championship and will be played in Mumbai from February 22.

The England women team will tour India from next month for limited overs matches across both the 50-over and 20-over formats. The BCCI has announced the schedule ahead of the upcoming series in a press release. The three ODIs will start from 9 AM while the T20 matches will begin from 10 in the morning.  

“The Board of Control for Cricket in India and England & Wales Cricket Board announce the schedule for the upcoming Paytm home series of the India women’s team against England. The series will comprise three ODIs that will start from 9:00AM IST and three T20Is which will start at 10:00AM IST,” the BCCI statement read. 

The ODIs to be played in Mumbai on 22, 25 and 28 February and will be a part of the ICC Women’s Championship with Wankhede Stadium hosting all the three matches. Before the start of the international fixtures, England will take on the Board President’s XI in a warm-up game in Mumbai. The T20 matches will be played on March 4, 7 and 9 at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Assam's Guwahati. 

“The ODIs will be a part of the ICC Women’s Championship and will be played at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. The T20Is will be played at Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Guwahati,” the BCCI release informed.
