Just like the Australian Cricket team set a 350+ score in the 2003 ICC World Cup final, India did the same to Australia today and the latter failed to chase the target. Twitterati were quick to point out how the tables have turned since the Johannesburg final that happened 16 years ago.

Brief Scores: India 352/5 in 50 overs (Shikhar Dhawan 117, Virat Kohli 82; Marcus Stoinis 2-62, Pat Cummins 1-55) beat Australia ( Steve Smith 69, David Warner 56; Bhuvneshwar Kumar 3-50, Jasprit Bumrah 3-61) by 36 runs

Australia dismantling themselves today was fun!

A nice way to return the favour!

Revenge is always sweet!

Many of us will relate to this!

As an Indian cricket fan, we have gone through a lot!

Why do you have to remind us of that! Why Star Sports? WHY!?

Every Indian fan right now!

Meanwhile...

How does it feel Ricky?

Now that is how progress looks like!

Fill in the blanks!

This is what we learnt from the highlights of the 2003 World Cup that was shown today!
