West Indies opener Kraigg Brathwaite has reported for a suspected bowling action during the second Test against India in Kingston, the International Cricket Council (ICC) said in a statement. Brathwaite, who bowls off-spin, was also reported for a suspect bowling action way back in 2017.

After Akila Dananjaya and Kane Williamson, West Indies's Kraigg Brathwaite is the latest spinner to have been reported for a suspect bowling action. The 26-year-old has been reported for a suspect bowling action after the second Test against India in Jamaica, where he bowled a couple of overs in India's first innings.

According to the Match Officials' report, there were question marks surrounding the legality of Brathwaite's action and thus the opener has been summoned to clear his action. The Barbadian will be needed to submit further testing by September 14, although he can continue to bowl in international cricket until his action is officially found illegal.

Brathwaite's action was also reported for chucking back in 2017, but it was then cleared after further tests. The 26-year-old has taken 18 wickets in 58 Tests, with one five-wicket haul to his name. However, with the Windies not set to play any Test cricket until November 27 where they will take on Afghanistan in a one-off Test, it is safe to say that Brathwaite will have enough time on his hands to clear his action.
