Pakistan to tour Bangladesh after T20 World Cup

Pakistan will tour Bangladesh for a bilateral series consisting of three T20Is and two Tests in November-December. During their last trip in May 2015, Pakistan clean-swept the ODI series 3-0, and took the two-match Test series 1-0. They’d also won the only T20 by seven wickets.

The series is scheduled to commence just five days after the T20 World Cup 2021 which is to be held in UAE and Oman, which might put a major question over the scheduling, especially if both teams make it to the knockout stages of the marquee tournament.

Dhaka's Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium hosted all international matches when Sri Lanka, Australia, and New Zealand toured the country recently. The venue will host the three T20Is featuring Pakistan too, between November 19 and 22, while the first of the two Tests will be played at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram. The teams will return to Dhaka for the second Test. 

Pakistan had hosted Bangladesh for a multi-format tour in early 2020, when the only ODI and the latter of two Tests were postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The hosts took the three-match T20I series 2-0 and won the lone Test comfortably by an innings and 44 runs.

2nd T20I: Dhaka, November 20

3rd T20I: Dhaka, November 22

1st Test: Chattogram, November 26-30

2nd Test: Dhaka, December 4-8
