‌Great leaders don’t shy away from reprimanding for wrong and are also the first to appreciate for the good. In his illustrious career as a captain, Rohit Sharma has inherited quite the pattern as a slight pat to Sarfaraz Khan for a catching failure at the Manuka Oval radiated similar vibes.

The decision to field first paid dividends for the Indian side that geared up for the two-day practice match against Prime Minster’s XI at the Manuka Oval. With the game being turned into a 50-over contest due to rain, Indian bowlers were right on the money with Harshit Rana picking up a four-for when Australia were already down by seven wickets. Sam Konstas seemed the lone warrior for the hosts. Amidst all the action, wicketkeeper Sarfaraz stole the spotlight for the wrong reason after a catch drop.

On the fifth ball of the 23rd over, Harshit Rana came over the wicket and bowled a back of a length delivery outside the stumps. With the pink cherry swinging a tad away from the batter, Ollie Davies failed to connect on the pull. He got beaten on the outside edge but the keeper failed to grab the ball. Sarfaraz, from behind the stumps seemed silly in his attempt and dropped the ball from his palm. Seeing this, Rohit at first slip ambled towards him and reprimanded with a slight slap at the shoulder with a smile. The Twitterverse was quick to witness this cheeky moment and buzz around social media.

LOL! This is hilarious!

It's always they both!

Hahaha!
