Cricketers are not just athletes they are also role models and can make a difference with their attitude. In a similar manner, Hardik Pandya made social media with his warm gesture to urge the KSCA security to gently handle the pitch invaders during the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy semi-finals.

Baroda made it to the semi-final of SMAT 2024 on the back of a convincing victory against Bengal in the quarter-finals with Lukman Meriwala picking up a marvelous three-fer. As they geared to face Mumbai in a battle of the Western heavyweights, many spectators came up at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium to watch their favourite players in action.

Before the action kicked off, respective team players were practicing and doing their regular match drills to get themselves prepared. This is when three fans climbed the caged fence at the venue and ran towards Hardik in the field. Soon, the security intervened and dragged the fans away from him. However, in a heart-warming gesture, Hardik suggested the security personnel handle them gently, prompting the Twitterverse into discussion.
