BGT | Twitter reacts as Kohli tries to temper fearless Konstas with shoulder barge and heated words

India came up against a Sam Konstas special on the first morning of the Boxing Day Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground as the rookie opener smashed the experienced Indian pacers all over the park in a rapid-fire knock of 60, taking just 65 deliveries. The quality of Jasprit Bumrah and the trick MCG plays under heavy cloud cover were not the only obstacles he had to face though as an emboldened Virat Kohli also stood in his way.

At the end of the 10th over, the two batsmen were exchanging ends while Kohli stood by the pitch with the ball in his hand. As Konstas approached him, the veteran very deliberately stood in the youngster's way and gave him an old-fashioned shoulder barge. However, Konstas, at the raw age of 19, was not going to take such antics from anyone regardless of the name. The New South Wales batter immediately turned around and gave him a good talking to, staring intensely at him even when the visitor returned the favour.
