The beauty of a team sport lies in an individual’s celebration of their teammates’ success. Hardik Pandya exemplified the trend with an enthusiastic gesture after India captain Suryakumar Yadav won their first toss in the ensuing series against South Africa iat the Wanderers, Johannesburg.

Following a close-fought win in a run-feast at the Supersport Park in Centurion, India aimed to seal the series as the caravan moved to Johannesburg. With the series staked at 2-1 in favour of India, Suryakumar Yadav and Aiden Markram, the two captains of the respective teams geared up for the toss. It is during this time of the game that the camera caught the attention of Hardik Pandya in hindsight celebrating Surya’s good fortune.

Hardik was seen stationed eagerly at the backdrop of the captains participating in the toss. Right after the coin was spun and it fell in favor of Surya, the all-rounder’s expression changed as jubilation radiated from his expression. This is the first toss that Surya won during the four-match T20I series and Hardik’s winning gesture justifies it all. The Twitterverse has the knack to keep an eye on Hardik’s body language and chirped about the team’s winning mentality.
