The Indian Premier League's camaraderie shone through on Day 2 of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy as Mitchell Starc and Harshit Rana shared a playful exchange. Their light-hearted banter about bowling pace was reminiscent of their Kolkata Knight Riders days and brought smiles all around.
In the 30th over, Rana bowled four tight deliveries to Starc without conceding a run. On the fifth delivery, a back-of-a-length ball rose sharply off the lively Perth pitch, striking Starc's bat shoulder and falling short of Virat Kohli at second slip. As the ball trickled away, Rana cheekily stuck out his tongue and smiled at his IPL teammate. Starc responded with a grin, quipping, "I bowl faster than you," to which Rana replied with a laugh before returning to his mark.
