Nothing captivates an audience quite like a batter smashing a six, generating waves of exhilaration during festive moments. Such was the atmosphere in the recent T20I between India and Bangladesh, where Sanju Samson displayed his talent with a spectacular six off Mustafizur Rahman.

‌India got off to a rocky start after opting to bat first, with Abhishek Sharma departing for just four runs, continuing his poor form in the series. However, Surya and Samson ignited the innings, propelling the score to 82/1 by the end of the powerplay. The Kerala batter was in sublime form, reaching his half-century in just 22 deliveries. The crowd truly got their money’s worth as he unleashed a stunning six off Mustafizur Rahman.

On the final ball of the eighth over, Mustafizur bowled a slower delivery angling across the off stump. Samson expertly judged the line and length, recognizing the opportunity to launch it for a maximum. He remained steady in his crease and sent the white ball soaring over long off for a spectacular six. The ball travelled over 83 meters, and the back-foot shot was declared the highlight of the evening by the commentators. As Samson's form returned, the Twitterverse buzzed with admiration for his performance.
