Inevitability is often a part of life, but when it comes to the Pakistan cricket team’s fielding, improvement remains elusive. This was evident during the first T20I between Pakistan and South Africa, where Pakistan’s Women’s Nashra Sandhu displayed poor fielding and leaked an unnecessary boundary.

After winning the toss, Pakistan got off to a strong start, utilizing spin effectively on a worn Multan deck. Sadia Iqbal was exceptional in her initial spell and dismissed Laura Wolvaardt and Anneke Bosch on consecutive deliveries in the third over. However, Marizanne Kapp then stepped in and hit two boundaries, helping South Africa recover from the early setbacks. Adding to Pakistan's woes, Sandhu's missed fielding effort allowed Kapp to score yet another boundary.

On the second ball of the fifth over, Pakistan skipper Fatima Sana delivered a fuller ball aimed at the stumps. Kapp read it perfectly and drove it towards mid-off, where Sandhu was positioned. She appeared set to gather the ball easily, squatting down to field it. However, a mistimed attempt let the ball slip through her hands, racing to the boundary. A disheartened Sana could only look on in disbelief, while social media quickly erupted with comments on Pakistan’s dismal fielding display.

Wow wow wow!

Legendary again!

So funny!

Can't laugh at it!

Epic!

True bhai!
