The tensions are not just heated in the IPL, they are also heated in the PSL. Recently in the Pakistan Super League, David Warner and Moeen Ali had a verbal clash on the field. This happened after their team Karachi Kings came out victorious in the game.

The Pakistan Super League got slightly more heated, with videos of David Warner and Moeen Ali surfacing on the internet. It suggested that both players had a verbal exchange and David Warner was unhappy with Moeen Ali even after the team's win. Karachi Kings went on to defeat Rawalpindiz by 5 wickets in the last game, where Warner played a crucial role.

He went on to score a half-century in 46 balls, while Moeen Ali played a short knock of 5 runs. His dismissal came at a time when the team was close to the win, which might have triggered Warner. While Karachi Kings went on to win the game, David Warner and Moeen Ali had a chat with each other after the match.

The video also showed that the Head of Strategy and Team Director had to intervene to ensure that the matters don't get escalated. It is being said that Warner was unhappy with Moeen Ali's dismissal and he confronted him for the same.

Our Take

Since Moeen Ali and David Warner play for the same team, the clash wasn't as heated as it was portrayed. David Warner also gave a clarification to the same on his official handles. The team's coaching staff said that Warner told Moeen to shake hands with the opposition team first, and it was all a joke.

Surely the team would be having a bonding session if things have gone bad between David Warner and Moeen Ali. But it should be noted that the team was able to win the game. So it remains clear that the matter between these two players is not much serious.
