The match between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru had another hilarious moment. Surely we witnessed Tim David's moments, but the one between the umpires and players was a lot more interesting. It happened during the drinks break, when Patidar was standing tall at the crease.

During the drinks break, RCB's coach Andy Flower and Dinesh Karthik were at the crease, communicating with Rajat Patidar. They were telling him about the possible plans for the remaining overs in the game. But at the same time, they noticed that Patidar is not having the drinks for which break was handed over to them.

Instead, the umpires were having drinks which came for Rajat Patidar. And then came a hilarious moment, as Dinesh Karthik started to scold the umpires for the same. The umpires also quickly handed over the water bottles to the RCB team, and they started to step back when they noticed that DK saw them drinking the water.

Our Take

The moment between RCB and umpires has quickly taken over the internet. The action taken by Dinesh Karthik was suggested as wrong, but it should be noted that the players are given a limited time of just 2.5 minutes in the drinks break. And since the break was taken mainly for the drinks, they first went to the umpire which took some time from RCB.
