Ajinkya Rahane made some sharp statements after yesterday's loss against Lucknow Super Giants. He talked about why people didn't like him playing the game and how he was still able to show the T20 intent. Rahane noted the negative talks around him, but he also decided to ignore them.
Ajinkya Rahane talk so arrogantly in press conference but in reality he is the one who bring down KKR as a captain as well as a batter. Stop being so arrogant Rahane & accept the reality!!pic.twitter.com/HgnaKNsLpU

Following his interview, several Twitter users came against his arrogance. One Twitter user posted by saying, “Ajinkya Rahane talk so arrogantly in press conference but in reality he is the one who bring down KKR as a captain as well as a batter. Stop being so arrogant Rahane & accept the reality!!”
His tweet went so viral that even Lalit Modi himself decided to react to the same. He replied to the tweet by saying, “I disagree with the author of this post. @ajinkyarahane88 - was well composed. Correctly said what he said. Confident. And rightly so. Winning and loosing is part of the game guys. Go for it Ajinkya ignore WHAT I CALL NOISE. YOU are one of the best things happened to @IPL and cricket. Salute you.”
Our Take
Kolkata Knight Riders and Ajinkya Rahane as a captain are surely having a tough time in the IPL lately. But it cannot deny the fact that Rahane has done well with the bat for his team this season. His move to ignore the outside talks against him was good, as it also helped him to focus on the game. Lalit Modi also showered his support to Rahane, praising his post match presentation skills and his confidence.
