Sanju Samson continues to impress the CSK fans and former players with his impressive performances. He surely did not have a good start for the team in the IPL 2026 season, but he has regained his form pretty well. With two centuries in IPL 2026, he was able to win his second POTM against Mumbai Indians.

This knock was so special, as Samson became the first CSK player to score a ton against Mumbai Indians. Following this knock, even Suresh Raina could not stop himself from posting about Sanju Samson. He immediately took over to his Instagram handle, where he posted a photo of Sanju Samson after his century with a heartfelt note.

The caption read, “Hello @imsanjusamson . Yellow suits you. And now you suit Yellow as well. A wicket keeper batter from Chennai guiding team to a win, we all have seen that before. Well played @ChennaiIPL on a comprehensive win guided by our very own Chetta and Akeal Hosein. #ipl2026 #mivscsk #sanjusamson”

Our Take

The post by Suresh Raina has captured a lot of attention from the fans and players alike. This shows that one legend of the team has been able to recognise the other legend in the making. Earlier, it was Suresh Raina who used to handle the batting line-up pretty well. And now taking a look at Sanju Samson taking up the role pretty well as a top order batsman, no one would be happier than Suresh Raina himself.
