Cricket and F1 racing are the two sports which have entered the list of collaborations in 2026. Arvid Lindblad, who is a part of the Red Bull Racing, recently paid a visit to India, where he went to Mumbai. There, Lindblad spent some time with the young cricketers to play the most popular game.

Over the last few weeks, we have seen a number of sports collaborating with cricket. Whether it is Tennis, Rugby, or even AFL, these sports know about the popularity of this game in India. And now, another sport has been added down to this list, which is the famous F1 racing.

This collaboration was surely unexpected for the fans to take place. Recently, the F1 specialist Arvid Lindblad visited Mumbai and he decided to try out the most popular sport in India, which is cricket. And since he visited Mumbai, he was at the heart of Indian cricket to try out the game which is the most popular throughout the country.

He visited a local ground and interacted with the young players. They talked to him about the game, as Lindblad even shook hands with the young champs. Later, he tried batting against the bowlers and was also able to smash the ball pretty well as compared to someone who plays the game for the first time.

Our Take

The visit of Arvid Lindblad to Mumbai has given a significant boost to this collaboration of F1 and cricket. Surely the games are a lot different from each other, but at the end of the day, it is the sportsmanship which keeps the players remembered for a long time. Arvid’s visit to India will be remembered more when he would meet the greats of the game such as Rohit Sharma, Sachin Tendulkar, Sunil Gavaskar, and more, who reside in Mumbai.
