Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bengaluru had an intense clash. But DC faced a fallout in its batting line-up, which made fans think that the record of 49 runs could be broken. Later when Delhi reached 50 runs, their fans started cheering and gave taunts to the RCB fans with the 49 mark.

Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bengaluru turned out to be a historic game. However, this match had a chance for Delhi to post the lowest total ever in the history of the tournament. Till date, this record is being held by Royal Challengers Bengaluru, when the team got all out for 49.

Against the Delhi Capitals, the team had a chance to remove their name from this record. Josh Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar Kumar even helped to put Delhi at the score of 9/6. But eventually, Abishek Porel and David Miller were able to settle on the crease, putting the team at 43/7.

Kyle Jamieson smashed two boundaries to take the team above 50. When this mark was crossed, the Delhi fans started to celebrate, as it won't be their team which breaks the record of RCB's 49. They even gave taunts to the RCB fans for the same, that the record of 49 still belongs to them even after such a good bowling effort.

Our Take

The moment between the fans in the clash of Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bengaluru turned out to be hilarious. Surely the RCB fans expected that they won't be teased with the 49 runs all out taunt in the coming years. But things took a wild turn, as Delhi Capitals even managed to reach 75 runs. It still remains to be seen whether any team will be able to break RCB's record of 49 all out or not.
