While they had bowlers such as Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah, Shardul Thakur has been one of the key wicket-taking assets for the team. Not giving him a chance to bowl would be a decision which will hurt Mumbai Indians, when they will watch the match highlights later in the tournament.
