Mitchell Starc is definitely aging like a fine wine in the longest format of the game. In the second Test against Bangladesh, he unleashed his inner beast once again. Taking 6 wickets in 10 overs, he wrapped up Bangladesh’s innings for just 64 runs.
Mitchell Starc has come at an age where the majority of the players even stop playing the longest format of the game. But he is dominating this format as if he is still in his prime form. After completing the first Test on a low note, he decided to make his comeback better in the second game.
This match was being played at South Mackay, and Bangladesh was batting first, which could have been the worst place for them. Mitchell Starc delivered an outstanding start by removing the opener on the very first ball of the game. But he didn't just stop there, he returned to take more wickets in the third over of the game, dismantling Bangladesh's top order.
Following this, Bangladesh lost five of their wickets to Starc in just 22 deliveries bowled by him. This also made him a part of the record of fewest balls for a fifer, where he is leading the charts with 15 balls. Eventually, he finished his spell with figures of 6/12 in 10 overs.

Who would say that Mitchell Starc is coming close to his retirement age? He is still giving performances which even the young talents of the Australian team or any other team may not be able to produce. Last year he went on to dominate against West Indies in a similar fashion, and this time he decided to take the charge against Bangladesh in the second Test.
